More about Americans and British!
July 4th, 1776 annocunced that they one the war with Great Britian. They are now a indpendent state and no longer apart of the British Empire. Which leads to the Decleration of Indpendence which was also approved by congress on July 4th.
In Martch 1776, following the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the patriots had the British blocked off in Boston! The British had defated the Americans in the Battle of Bunker Hill!!! :(
